Laser Vein Therapy
Now men and women alike are making unsightly facial and leg veins a thing of the past. With the most advanced technology, we can safely and effectively treat a wide range of spider veins on both men and women.
How Does it Work?
Many skin conditions manifest in the form of broken or abnormal blood vessels in the skin. Our laser therapy technology treats vascular conditions by administering a unique, high-power laser that is absorbed by the abnormal blood vessels in the skin. The laser heats the abnormal vessels causing the vein walls to collapse and seal shut. Over time, the vessels will no longer be visible. Several treatments may be necessary to achieve your personal goals.
Spider Veins Contact
Most patients find the majority of treated veins show significant improvement within 2-6 weeks of treatment.
Your Questions, Answered
WHAT SPECIFIC CONDITIONS CAN BE TREATED?
A number of conditions can be treated including rosacea, spider veins, leg veins, port wine stains, cherry angiomas and benign pigmented lesions such as sun spots. Treatment may also have a cosmetic benefit for patients who have skin lesions or scars from past injuries or surgeries.
HOW IS THE PROCEDURE PERFORMED?
After an initial consultation, we will determine if treatment is appropriate. Unlike other procedures, injections or topical anesthesia are not required throughout the duration of the 15 – 30 minute procedure. A proprietary cooling mechanism is used to minimize discomfort and protect the skin.
HOW MANY TREATMENTS ARE NEEDED?
The number of treatments depends on various parameters, including the size, thickness and color of the vascular lesion. Superficial vascular lesions are usually easiest to treat. Some patients might see significant improvement after just 1 treatment. Since individual results vary, please contact us about your specific condition.
DO THE TREATMENTS HURT?
Most patients experience a stinging sensation as the pulses of energy are delivered through the handpiece. Although no local anesthesia or pain medication is typically required, some patients opt to use a topical anesthetic prior to treatment. Following the treatment, the pain is minimal to nonexistent.
HOW MUCH DOES TREATMENT COST?
Costs varies depending on the size of the area and the condition being treated. Please contact us to learn more about treatment fees. The SPA at Finesse Plastic Surgery laser vein therapy 50% off feature will end on September 30, 2015.
